This album is my life expressed in every song. It deals primarily with the death of my brothers, Alex and Jared Mitchell. They are my greatest influence for most of these songs. The challenges of dealing with grief and pain from bad decision are the main ideas of "Hometown," "Dear Child," and "The Show." The songs "Pretty Lady" and "Will You Still Love Me" express my love for my dear wife Ruth, who happens to be featured on violin on the last song!
